On Friday evening November 13th 2015, several establishments in the 10th and 11th arrondissements in Paris were attacked by a coordinated series of terrorist attacks.

All SAFEY app users that visit France are automatically notified and informed by the in-app upon arrival, that France is a risk area for attacks of this kind.

Previous attacks such as the Saint-Quentin-Fallavier in June 2015 and Charlie Hebdo in January 2015 resulted in elevated risk levels being communicated to app users. The first local news that emerged of the Paris attacks were picked up by SAFEY information systems, and within minutes all app users in France had received SMS warnings about the attack, and professional advice on what to do. All of this occurred while the attack was still unfolding.
